Songs from John

.

John finally figured out how to turn his tunes into mp3's that didn't sound like they were playing inside a tin can, and I finally figured out how to upload/download/crossload.

Here are two of my favourites.

Get your own playlist at snapdrive.net!

If you'd like to hear more, see John Palmer at MySpace. (<---That's a link!)

He would love people to make comments on the songs, IF we can now figure out how to enable that!

Incidently, the guitar soloist on Gulf Isle Getaway is Michael Dunn, a good friend. Do check out his website if you love beautiful guitars.

Came back to visit and make sure I hadn't missed anything. Last time I tried the songs it was all wierd, so today is the first time I have heard them. It is a warm and sunny afternoon and I have just returned from taking the dog for a long walk in the park and the pine woods. The walk made me think of those warm summers of hopeful youth and then listening to John's music and lyrics was just perfect on such a day.
Lately so many things seem to have a shine of perfect to me- one or two perfect days, and some perfect moments. Listening to the songs was obviously meant for this moment, because they struck just right complementing, contemporary and nostalgic thoughts.
Loves.
